what the hell is "keeping it real"?

For those who know me personally I am uncensored, insensitive, indirectly compassionate, attitude-having, heart-on-my-sleeve wearing, passionate, big-hearted person. I curse like a sailor but that is no indication that my brain can't come up with the words so it just inserts an expletive. I guess if I'm going to have a blog titled "Unleash" then I better be unleashing something, right? My writing is a little different. It takes an indirect approach instead of encompassing that explosive personality that people either learn to love, or love to hate. Either way I'mma keep it real...

But what the hell is keeping it real?

I don't want this entry to seem like a judgment on those who this situation reflects a piece of their lives....but that's what I'm afraid of...the situation. I believe that life is a precious thing... Think about all the struggles and challenges that made you who you are today. Think about all the things you made it through that built your character, your core. Granted many people wouldn't change their experiences for the world, but would you willingly put another life through your own experiences? Or would you made sure they had better? ..or are you that selfish? These questions I encounter on a daily as I begin to be suffocated by those who made conscious choices...nothing is an accident.

don't go to bed mad

I realize and I have accepted that by nature, I am a writer. I express myself through words the way that most wish they could express themselves in any matter at all...I am a communicator. This blog will be my outlet...my breath of fresh air...my sigh of relief, my reason not to go to bed mad. As a preface to anything that I may write here...there is a reason why I have titled the blog

"Unleash"

It will be a poetic uncensored, unabridged version of my sporadic thoughts, my emotions, my reality, my take on life....
